Speed hides things. Momentum will happily carry you through an exercise while the muscles that need the work stay quiet.

Slowing down removes the hiding places. Suddenly you feel the centre, the ribs, the breath, the exact moment the shape begins to collapse.

That feedback is the point. Precision builds strength that lasts, because the body learns the pattern instead of rushing past it.

Slower does not mean easier. Most people find it far more demanding, and far more useful.
