Returning to the Body: A Practice of Steady Movement

Most of us live a little above our bodies, thinking ahead, planning, managing. Returning is less about effort and more about attention.

Steady movement gives attention somewhere to rest. A slow roll down, a controlled leg lift, breath matched to shape. Nothing dramatic, and yet everything changes.

Steadiness is not the absence of intensity. It is intensity you can stay present for, held long enough that the body learns it rather than survives it.

Come back often. The practice is not a destination. It is a door you are welcome to open again and again.
